If leaf-ing me is easy........

Hello all!
A day late and a dollar short but I'm here with my posting for the latest colouring challenge from the Outlawz colouring DT and our theme this week is leaves.  Now you go down the obvious route of using an image with leaves or go off-piste with a 'sorry you're leaving' type of card - the choice is yours and you can use any form of colouring medium you choose, just remember you must actually colour in an image!

I used a very cute image from Birdie Brown, coloured in with Copics and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut some leaf shapes from the cardstock.  I then added some paint chip samples behind the cut out leaves and inked the edges of the popped out shapes, adding them along the side.

I must apologise for the poor photography as I still haven't found my sweet spot in the house for photographing cards!  The gloomy, grey November light doesn't help much either.

I would like to enter this into the challenges at Fresh Brewed Designs, Digi Stamps for Joy, Southern Girls and A Crafty Mess.

Thanks for popping in!

F-F-F-Friday!

Hello all!
Friday once again and another challenge for you to join in over with The Outlawz Alcohol Markers DT and this week we have a colour challenge.  In keeping with the upcoming holiday, it has a Halloween feel to it but you certainly don't have to go down that road - I didn't!  The colours also work very well for this time of year in the Northern Hemisphere so I decided to do an Autumn style card.
For my card I used a cute image from Birdie Brown - she has a great freebie every month for her challenges so it's worth checking out her site, especially as her images are so very sweet.
I used a paint chip card as the background for my Copic coloured little gnome and kept it simple with the addition of photo corners, wooden leaves and some washi tape,

I would like to enter this into the challenges at Creative Belli , The Crafters Cafe , By Lori Designs , Addicted to Stamps and more , Paper Crafting Journey and Through the Craftroom Door .

Thanks for popping in!

Let me tell you 'bout the birds and the bees.......

Hello all!
Don't worry, we're not about to have "The Talk" - it's just the latest challenge over at The Outlawz :) We want to see your creativity with a birds, bees and bugs theme and remember that you must use alcohol markers to enter - we are the Copics/Promarkers DT after all!  This month we are very happy to be sponsored by the fabulous 2CuteInk with a prize of 3 digis for the lucky winner of the month - what more incentive to enter do you need?

For my card, (still very much on the CAS train), I used a very cute freebie from Birdie Brown , coloured with Copics, matted it on 2 different colours of cardstock and added a stamped sentiment and a few sparkly gems.

I would like to enter this into the challenges at Pretty Little Ribbon, Sisterhood of Crafters, Cute Card Thursday, Crafting Musketeers and Natalie and Amy's challenge.

Hope the sun is shining where you are today - thanks for popping in :)

Frame it!

Hello all!
Just popping in with a quick posting for a card I made up before I left for my Easter break.  I design digital stamps which are sold under LilyPink Designs at Can You Digi it? and also from my etsy shop,   - I decided to come up with a few background frames/designs to use with digis as sometimes I just want to colour everything!

I used a very cute freebie from Birdie brown and merged it onto my circular background frame (this should be available from CYDI next week).

I would like to enter this into the challenges at Crafting for all seasons , Creative Belli , Fab 'n' Funky , Flutterby WednesdaysCYDI and Simon Says Stamp .

Thanks for popping in :)
