Anything goes Friday at The Outlawz.

Hello all!
As well as Anything Goes, we also have the option of doing a calendar page for the last challenge of each month over at the Copics/Promarkers group at The Outlawz .  I've managed to stick with this choice and so have my November 2013 page to share today.  I have been using the Teddy Bo digis for the whole calendar and keeping it simple with just the image and the month table.

Isn't he just so rootin' tootin' cute?

I would like to put this in for the challenges at  -
A/G with a masculine twist

Thanks for popping in and I hope you have a great weekend :)

Cute as a bug.

Hello all!
Back after a few days away from blogging - just didn't feel in a blog mood, no real reason other than I've been having a few nights with insomnia, always fun!  Anyway, my card today is done with a digi I havn't used for a while - unfortunately there are quite a few digis hiding away in my files so I really must get them better organised!  This one is called 'Ally and Beeble' from the Emerald Faeries collection - so cute :)
I used my Cameo for the sentiment and the scallop edged oval (big surprise!) and coloured with my Copics, keeping it all to just a few colours.

Back to school.

Hello all!
I've been a bit thin on the ground with postings this week but I've been working on some other non-card related bits - I need to get a few things done before I head back to the UK for a visit again!

Anyway, as Friday has arrived, it means a new challenge over at The Outlawz for the Copics/Promarkers group and this week our theme is, as the post title says - 'Back to School'.  I know that there's still a few weeks to go until term starts in the UK but they start a whole lot sooner over here in the States.  My niece will be starting 'big' school at the end of September when she'll be 5 - I'm not sure if she's excited or not.......  I can't wait to get a photo of her with her new school uniform on :)
Still, enough waffle - I made a card that I hope will appeal to all ages as there are plenty of adults who bravely head out to continue their education, plus I thought it would also be a good thank you teacher card as well.

I found the image by doing a Google image search for schoolbooks; it's actually a colouring book page and one of my fellow DT members (thanks Jo!), tells me it's from Elizabeth Dulemba.  I coloured it with Copics and I also did the splodgy background by dripping some of the copics blender and a few drops of the refills in the same colours as the books.  The background is done with a rubber stamp from http://www.blockheadstamps.com/ and I added some ribbon and craft tape - the opening was cut using my Cameo and I popped the image up with some foam dots.

I would like to put this card into the following 'Back to School' challenges -

Go Fish!!

Starting off today with a Father's Day card for all those fishing guys out there.  I can't say I understand the appeal of fishing - I'd be happy to sit on a river bank on a gloriously sunny day with a great book and a chilled bottle of vino but you wouldn't catch me sitting there if there was the slightest chance of inclement weather!!  Maybe it's a chance to get away for those who do it..........................we won't delve too deeply into what they're trying to get away from though :)

Anyway, on to the card which I made using a digi from craftsuprint - they have a good selection of men digis to use - and I followed the sketch from this week's mojo monday challenge.  I kept it simple, trying to avoid the frou-frou !

I would also like to enter this into the following challenges -

Thanks for taking the time to stop and take a look :)

Fabulous Friday!

Wow, another week just flew by!!  At least that means Spring is getting closer and we even had a couple of lovely warm and sunny days this week :)  So looking forward to winter going - I'm a sun-loving person and can't wait for the warm weather to get here!
Anyway, it's Friday so that means its another funtabulous challenge with the Copics/Promarkers group over at The Outlawz .  This week we're asking you to come up with something green (the colour, not the concept) in honour of the upcoming St Patrick's Day.  I chose to use a digi from Make it Crafty called Pipi petal sprite  - isn't she cute?
I like using pinks and greens together and to keep it all matching, I inked the seam binding with the same Copic green I used for her hair and coloured the edges of the scalloped backing circle with the same flesh pinks as the flowers in her hair - talk about attention to detail!!

Anyway, why not pop over to The Outlawz to check out the rest of the DT's gorgeous work?  If you're not already a member, it doesn't take 2 minutes to join and you'll have access to some wonderful inspiration and the chance to win some fabulous prizes each and every month!  Well worth it and it won't cost you a penny!

I would like to put this card in for the following -
http://digistamps4joy.blogspot.com/ - green
http://flutterbywednesdays.blogspot.com/ - butterfly, fairy or angel (I'm hoping sprite will count!)
http://simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ - mother's day/ special female

I'll be back again shortly with my post for The Octopode Factory - hope to see you then :)
