Black and white (and shades of grey).

Happy Friday!!
Paticularly happy in the UK where they will be having a 4 day weekend with not one but two Bank Holidays!!  All due to the Diamond Jubilee celebrations - I'll be trying to catch as much as I can on the BBC TV channel just so I don't feel too homesick :(

My first card today is for the Octopode Factory challenge which is 'Black and White' this week.  This was the first digi I brought from Lily's etsy shop and I do think he's very cute!

I will admit that he's more grey than black but let's put that down to artistic interpretation :)  I used the Copics cool greys to colour him and added a few stamps and a rub-on frame.   Why not head over to the Octopode Factory challenge blog and take a look at the fabulous work from the rest of the DT and then join in!!

I would like to enter him into the following challenges -

Be back again shortly with my second Friday post!

Love this whimsical card, Dawn! Your design suits your crazy little image! :^)
I don't know how you do it--living in a foreign country. I would be a basket case. At least we speak a language similar to the Queen's English! Even if we don't understand all the nuances! Have a great weekend!
Hugs,

What a great way to showcase this cute image! I think grey works on a black and white challenge - isn't it just light black? LOL! Fun card - I can't wait to play in this challenge as soon as a good idea pops in my head!!!
