So, for those of you who don't know about the weird and wonderful world of Monty Python, this was inspired by the famous 'Dead parrot' sketch from John Cleese and Michael Palin - it's very odd and funny in a very British kind of way :) Anway, the card details - the background is done with the wonderfully vibrant Dylusions ink sprays, which I am having so much fun with and the 2 birds are coloured with Copics. The Octopode images seem to lend themselves to bright and vibrant colours so I'm planning on using them a lot more with the Dylusions ;)
I would like to enter this into the following challenges -
http://citycrafter.blogspot.com/ - solid colour
http://canyoudigiit.com/blog/2012/07/cydi-challenge-15/ - bird is the word
http://www.scrapbooksisters.blogspot.com/ - things with wings
Thanks for stopping in and taking a look :)

Very cute and creative, Dawn! Love the vibrant colors and fun images!
oh my gosh YES!!! those amazingly strong, vibrant, ♥FABULOUS♥ colors are indeed perfect for those fun, funky images! i looooooooove your gloriously inky background, especially, but the entire card is cool!
ps: i'm very glad this handsome guy is simply stunned and not actually in the same state as the famous norwegian blue from the MP sketch!!! :) :) :)
Oh wow. Fantastic! I love the way you use TOFF.
That background is gorgeous!
I'm definitely "a certain age", but I'm not British, though I spent 15 months in the UK and I do love Monty Python.
Dawn, as well as being hilarious, this card is just gorgeous! I love, love, love the colors! Your birds are beautifully colored and really pop against that background. And your dialog; I not only love it, but I love the way you applied it to the card! :^)
Hugs,
Penny

I have several BBC programs that I love to watch but have to sadly admit that I don't always get the British humor. I wonder if they make a British dictionary so I can familiarize my self with all those words that I don't realize what they mean. LOL The colors on the birds are really striking against the sprays. Off to catch up on commenting so I can go watch one of those BBC shows. :-) Hugs!
How Funny!!!!! You have the best since of humor! Fun to see your card in the CYDI challenge. Hugz!
