Is it in the genes?

Hello all!
Just a quick post to show you something that isn't about my art!  We went back to the UK for a holiday in May and I took with me a colouring book that I had made up for my niece, filled with lots of my favourite digital stamps.  She loves to colour and so got to work on the book there and then.  In May she was 4 and a half so when I returned to the UK this September for her 5th birthday, I asked to see her colouring book........
......these are my favourite pages -

And yes, of course I'm completely biased but I think they're fantastic for a 4 1/2 year old!!!!  I also love how she's added a few bits here and there.  So, my post title question stands - is it in the genes?

I hope whatever she decides to do that she will always enjoy her art :)  Thanks for indulging me and letting me share.

First of all, she is a cutie! Secondly, she is extremely talented! I am really impressed that a child her age did this coloring! Must be in the genes; after all, look at her auntie! ;^)

Wow dawn, for a 4 1/2 year old, it's very good!!
I remeber my kids coloring when they were that age, and they did'nt color between the lines!
And her color choices are also great!!
It's in the genes :)
She has a lovely face!!!

Your niece is adorable, Dawn, and she is quite the talented little artist! She did a fantastic job coloring up those images! It's hard to believe she was less than five! I might have to take lessons from her!! Thanks for sharing - brought a smile to my face today!

Brilliant idea Dawn to do that for her! Obviously she didn't want to disappoint and did her best work. Tell her I think she is so good she could be on a design team!!!!
Love it and thanks for sharing it with us, you made me smile.

What a sweet little girl and she is very talented, I've taught adults that can't colour that well! I hope everyone will encourage her to keep it up as, even for pleasure, she will benefit from her talent during her life!

Well done you for bringing her talents to the fore!

Hugs

Wow, now she is a diamond in the ruff. I see her on a design team in the near future. Simon Says has challenges for the little ones. I am sure she would be a winner. Hugs

She has done a wonderful job and yes, there must be something in her genes that link to your incredible artistic talent.

Uh no. I don't think you're biased at all. She did an amazing job of staying in the lines and using her colors for the different parts of the outfits. I'd definitely say it runs in the genes. :-) Hugs!

What amazing coloring - has to be in the genes. Thanks for sharing this - it totally made me smile. Your pictures are so beautiful - you have some serious photographic talent on top of all your other amazing talents.

BTW, I am hoping you can help me with a project I am working on, can you email me? Kwilliams6@elmore.rr.com

These were colored by a 4 year old? OMGosh! That is insane! Most 4 year olds just scribble all over the page and that's it. Your niece is amazingly talented. Thanks for sharing her artwork.
Blessing hugs,
Teresa

Oh my gosh Dawn this is totally amazing for a 4 1/2 y/o. Usually they can't even stay in the lines at that age and she did the different colors beautifully!! Yep, it's in the genes g/f! What a cutie pie - makes you want to just reach out and squeeze her!
