I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend - only 2 more after this one until Christmas! I don't know about you but I'm in need of a break from seasonal cards at the moment so for the current challenge over at The Octopode Factory Friday blogspot, I decided to ignore the festive season completely and make a birthday card instead.
The challenge theme is 'triangles' and the first thing that popped into my head for that was bunting - always fun to use on a card. I used my Cameo to cut out the round edged triangles for the bunting and then used the negative spaces on the cardstock to ink up a colourful background. I also stamped some flowers and a sentiment in a completely random pattern, coloured the flowers with my Faber Castell Pitt big brush pens and did a bit of doodling around the triangles. The Octopode bees on the bunting and the lettered bunting were tied together using baker's twine and the result was a colourful and chaotic card :)
I would like to enter this into the challenges at -
Thanks for popping in!
