Do you care for tea?

Hello all!
Back with my 2nd post for the day - yep, I have been busy!  If you are looking for my Outlawz Copics DT posting, you can find it here .
This time it is to tell you about the latest fun challenge over at The Octopode Factory  which is 'Mad Hatters Tea Party'.  Now Lily has plenty of fabulous digis to choose from for this theme over at her shop but you don't need to use an Octopode image to enter the challenge - you do get the chance to win some if you enter though so why not come and join us?

For my card I decided to use this Mad Hatter digi and I wanted him on a teacup.  I used my Cameo to cut and merge the teacup shapes at the bottom and also cut a thin strip of matching cardstock with little folded tabs so I could connect the teacups along their sides.  This made a sort of pocket effect so I could put some real teabags inside the cup!  I hope the picture makes it a bit clearer than my explanation - I could never be a teacher as I just don't know how to put into words what I've done!

The image was coloured with Copics and I added some Diamond Glaze to his funky specs!  I love how this turned out and it would make a great card with a gift inside for any keen tea drinker :)

A view from above!

I would like to enter this into the challenges at  -
