Just popping in with a card that's primarily for the current challenge over at the Craft Stamper blog. I have to be honest here and say that I'm not really sure about this card as heat embossing is not something I've done much of. Anyway, I thought I'd give it a go even if it is way outside of my comfort zone.......
I used a harlequin style background stamp and heat embossed with 3 different powders on one side - on the other, I randomly swiped embossing ink over the card and added some Distress Embossing powder (Vintage Photo). I then also embossed the Stampotique image (Jasmin) and the sentiment - that's a lot of embossing! I stamped over the diamonds with Stazon and then went over the cardstock with some Distress Stain (Old Paper). Finally I added a touch of colour to the image using Faber Castell Big Brush pens.
So, entering this in the challenges at Craft Stamper , Through the Craftroom Door , 613 Avenue Create , Kaboodle Doodles and Anything Goes challenge blog.

Very creative. I would never have come up with something like this and I like it. I love the image over the embossing and the way that you got some color on it. Great idea and great card.
I love to emboss. It's a bit time consuming and messy, but it's worth it for the fun texture. Great job Dawn. Hugs!

I remember a time we always embossed on our cards. I love how you did the embossing with several different colors. The Distress Embossing powder are so different but has it interesting look. Love the background look.
