News, news, news!

Hello all!
Back from our trip across the pond with a lovely virus as a coming back gift and we're still surrounded by that cold, white stuff with more on the way!  However this post is not going to be a gloomy one as I have a couple of bits of news to share.
I have been invited to join a new DT challenge blog starting very soon - Time Out Challenges.     Here's a few words from the creators of the blog -

This challenge has been created by Nonni and SandieWe both love to take TIME OUT of our busy days and indulge in the art of crafting! And as many of you know, it is the crafting challenges that inspire us to create and take us much TIME OUT as we can.

We decided to join together and develop our own challenge blog bringing together the types of challenges that inspire us most. We came up with 4 types of challenges and gave them our own little twist! If you keep checking this blog out you will find out what our twist is, we think you will like it!!

I hope you will come and join in the challenges - I'll keep you informed :)

Now for my other piece of news - we're heading home!  After 5 years of living in New Jersey we have decided it's time for us to go back to jolly old England.  We've loved being in the States and really enjoy travelling around this incredible country but we were never planning on staying for good.  We initially planned a 3 year stay but that went by so quickly that we tagged on another couple of years and now here we are!   Our house near Cambridge, England was rented out during the time we were away so we are having some redecoration done and will be moving back there in June.
It will be great to be so much nearer to family and friends which is the main reason we're moving back.  It's a great opportunity to live in a different country and we have thoroughly enjoyed our American life but we are now looking forward to our little house in the Cambridgeshire countryside again!
I'll be back tomorrow with my regular posting for The Outlawz and I'm hoping to get around to visiting your blogs very soon, in between starting to pack!!!

Well I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay in the states but I don't blame you one bit for wanting to be back in your own home and nearer to family. I'm really happy for you, :-) Congrats on your new DT my friend! Hugs!

I was wondering if you were headed home when I saw you listing things to sell via FB posts! I'm happy for you as I know how difficult it can be to be away from family and friends.

Congrats on your new team!

First of all congratulations on your DT spot! Second - sorry you've got a cold. Third - going back to the UK will be such a big change - you must be so excited. Sounds like you've had a marvellous time in the US.

I am glad you are getting a chance to go back home and be with family. I have lived away from family and it is hard. Glad you got to really experience America though. Post some pictures of your house when you get there - I have a picture in mind and I want to see how close I am. Congrats on your new DT gig - you will do a wonderful job for them. Hugz!
