Spring time challenge at The Outlawz

Hello all!
well it does seem as if Spring is finally here in the Garden State after what seems to be the longest winter ever and for this week's challenge with the Alcohol Markers DT over at The Outlawz, we are asking you to join in with a "Spring has sprung" theme.

Our sponsor for the month of April is the fabulous Make it Crafty and they have generously offered up an extra prize for an additional draw made for those who use a MIC image.  Such a great prize so make sure you get those alcohol markers out and get colouring!

For my card I coloured up a springtime scene using the Pond a lily digi but I spent so much time colouring it, I ran out of time to make a fancy card with it - so apologies for the very plain nature of the card design but hopefully the bright scene will make up for that.

Thanks for stopping by and please check out the rest of the DT's wonderful creations

Finally before I go, I'm having to sell all electrical items as they won't be suitable for use in the UK and I have a barely used Teresa Collins Stampmaker among the 'to go' items.  It retails between $120 and $180 depending on where you look but as I have used it twice, I'm willing to let it go for $50 plus postage - now that's the kicker as I don't know what postage would be .............$25?????  Could be less if I packed it in a smaller box than than the original.  You can buy all the necessary refills for this and I will say that the quality of the stamps is very good - they result in a clear stamp that you fix to acrylic blocks to use.   Please drop me a line if you are interested - don't want to sell it but neither do I want to but a transformer when we get back to England!

                           Thanks for stopping by!

Wow! What a great scene. Fabulous job coloring it! I'm especially taken with the reflection in the water and the dragonflies.

I like the design as it is! Adding to the card would have been too much!

P.S. I'll have to ask my husband if we still have our transformers from when we lived in England. If we do, you can have 'em for a great price (postage).

Oh, Dawn, you didn't need to do anything else with this, because the image is so stunning and beautifully colored! I love it--and I especially love the dragonflies. ;^)
Hope you get your electrical items sorted and sold--such a hassle, huh? But I know that the move will be worth it for the two of you! :^)
Have a terrific weekend!
Hugs, Penny

Hi Dawn, Just found you via Darnell (http://www.djkardkreations.com/) and wonder of wonders, I was able to join _and_ get my profile photo to show. Oh happy day!!! Loved your froggie card, and truly, the image is so detailed, I rather liked that simple treatment you did on your card. It's colored so beautifully, with the shading & highlights in the image, it didn't need one other thing to make it a wonderful card. Hope you will find time to visit me too. TFS & Hugs

Amazing scene here Dawn! Great detail in the image and your colored it fabulously as usual. Looks like there should be a story behind it like once there was a little frog in a big pond....LOL. Super card! Hugz!
