Old fashioned charm.

Hello all!
Back with a card that has a vintage feel to it today.  The challenge over at Teddy Bo is Anything Goes and I had a little tag that I had coloured up some time ago but hadn't done anything with.  It wasn't partcularly large so I had to bulk the card design out a bit using an additional 2 tags (the bottom one is actually a clothing tag that I cut off a purchase and kept - does anyone else do that?  Some of the labels and tags are so nice that I can't bring myself to throw them out!).
The background paper is from a Prima 6x6 Botanical pad that I have decided to use instead of keeping it locked away in my stash cupboard!  The other bits have come from my ever-increasing stash that really does need a good sort through - don't you feel terribly guilty when you come across things you don't even remember buying?

Still, enough waffle and on to the card -

I would also like to enter this into the challenges at -

Thanks for popping in :)

This is just gorgeous. I love the tag with all those yummy layers. I even have that same DP and have avoided it, but you used it so well!

Gosh I love this card, Dawn! It is such an artistic piece! Love the ticket image, the layers, beautiful papers, and fabulous embellies! It is just soooo cool! :^)
And yes, I have found items that I look at and say, where in the heck did I get that? Or, why in the heck did I get that? Scary, huh? LOL!
Hugs, Penny

Oh my - this is wonderful. I love how you have the writing over the image - makes it look kind of like a reflection. Great idea. BTW - I save tags all the time - I especially like to use my DH's jean tags on western cards. Hugz!

Ouch! You just poked me in a sore spot. I have tons of goodies in my stash that I have TOTALLY forgotten about. Just dug several out for a mini album. Got to do that more often. I really like how you used the Prima paper for your background. I have such a hard time using those type of patterns. They either get cut off or covered up. Yours is just right! Hugs!

Wow. I love the layered tags and design on this one.

BTW, I always use what I buy. Immediately. (<I lied. I think every crafter has a stash of goodies, that s/he thinks might be useful one day.)
