Believe in Spring.

Hello all!
after yet more snowfall here and with more winter showers forecast tomorrow it really does seem as is Spring will never get here!  I thought a Spring-like card might help so decided to play with one of the new Octopode woodland creatures.  I spritzed an old dictionary page with water and Dylusions Inks and then stamped some flowers over that with Stazon ink.  I had coloured the digi and some Octopode flowers with Copics and fussy cut them, placing them on a freebie background paper from a Stampington magazine (my indulgence treat!)  A computer printed sentiment was coloured over with a Pitt Big Brush pen to finish it off.

I would like to enter this into the challenges at Stampotique , Simon Says Stamp and ShowTuesday Alchemy , Everybody Art Challenge and Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks for popping in to take a look - hope you're having better Spring weather where you are :)

Dawn...your card is so cute! I love the bright, vivid colors. I love the stamped images and how you've utilitzed all of those bright colors to give such "life" to your Octopode skunk. The background colors are blended so pretty and so random! Love that you've cut and placed all of your colored items on book text that is sprayed with Dylusions. That looks so cool and serves as a great background for your whimsical creature. Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy

Hmmm???? Is this some kind of hybrid skunk that doesn't stink? It's just too cute to be smelly. Great background, colors, and I really like how you did the sentiment. Hugs!

I must say Dawn that I totally love the originality of all your work. I love this absolutely gorgeous colour combo, and that image is a hoot! Your colouring is fantastic and it is always a pleasure to watch you create.
Oh, I was reading your bio and knowing the British for their very unique/cool/funny/hilarious words...what exactly is a snapper?
