The red, white and blue.....

Hello all!
I'm still a bit hit and miss in blogland as I'm away from home but I'm hoping to find some time to catch up on some blog-surfing and commenting very soon!
I have a different project from my usual cards today - I've been playing with hard canvas boards lately and doing some Subway style word projects.  I decided to stay patriotic on home territory with this one  - I covered a board with some old dictionary pages and then very roughly daubed on the Union Jack flag with acrylic paint.  I then stamped various images and text over the painted surface and added some vinyl 'British' words, cut using my Cameo.

I would like to put this in for the challenges at Simon says Stamp and Show , Loves Rubber Stamps , The Artistic Stamper , Visible Image and My Grafico .

Thanks for popping in and I hope to pay you a visit soon :)

Brilliant! I can tell you Dawn that I have a place in my basement loo for this...I have a picture of the Queen sitting on her throne beautifully framed and hanging on the wall just above the toilet, all in fun of course! When I was in London I tried to get other knick knacks but instead decided to frame tiny pictures that we took ourselves. I love this!!!!

Fabulous canvas! Aren't the flat ones fabulous?

Great painted Union Jack. I love the overstamping and the addition of the bold black words.
