Keep Calm - it's only Xmas!

Hello all - back again with another Christmas in July card.  I'm really trying to get ahead with my festive cards but it is difficult when the sun is shining and it's 90 degrees out there!  Anyway, this card is done using one of my new digis, available from LilyPink Designs at http://canyoudigiit.com/ .

I'm a big fan of the "Keep Calm" merchandise that's so popular at the minute so I thought I would come up with a keep calm bauble!  I did all of the baubles as separate digis and also as the merged group seen here -

I made the card with a recessed frame so I could put string on the baubles and hang them from the top of the card - you can probably see that better in the next snap.

The non traditional colours were inspired by the current challenge over at Through the Craftroom door  and I would also like to enter it into the challenges at  Simon Says Stamp  (Anything goes), the Stamp n doodle (Christmas in July) and Holly, jolly christmas (non trad. xmas colours).

 

  I also covered the baubles with Glossy Accents to give them some stiffness and to add some shine.  It doesn't help when taking photos but they do look pretty shiny in real life!
