Anyway, today I'm showcasing a couple of cards that I put together using two of the Steampunk digis from the fabulous Octopode Factory. I do like the whole steampunk idea and it doesn't seem to be losing its popularity yet! I used 'Steampunk Nipper Winston' for this first card and kept it simple with some world map backing paper and adhesive chipboard letters for the sentiment, adding some black photo corners for the finishing touch.
For the second card, I used the digi, 'Steampunk Little Miss Posy' and I merged it onto a background using my own number background digi, available from Can You Digi It. I also printed a sentiment over the top of that and mounted it onto some stamped kraft card, with a couple of chipboard 'X's' as embellishments.
I would like to enter Steampunk Nipper Winston into the following challenges-
http://paperminutes.blogspot.com/ - vintage
http://toptiptuesday.blogspot.com/ - one for the men
http://papermakeupstamps.blogspot.com/ - monochrome
Thanks for stopping to take a look - why not head over to the TOFF challenge blog and see the fabulous inspiration from the wonderful design team there, you won't be disappointed :)
