Not sure that 'wonderland' is the term that many of you out there would use to describe the past week of weather - what with storms and flooding in parts of the UK and the freezing arctic weather which visited Canada and a huge chunk of the States but that's our theme for the new challenge over at The Outlawz Alcohol Markers DT .
So why not head into the warmth and get creating? We have a great sponsor this month - Aurora Wings, designer Mitzi Sato-Wiuff and she has generously donated a $10 gift certificate for the winner as well as gifting us lucky DT members with an image each to use. For my card this week, I used my image, Kawaii Fairy - I coloured her with Copics and there she sat while I racked my brains for an idea. I knew I wanted to do something white to give a wintery feel and then I remembered a card I had seen on one of the blogs I follow - here , always full of lovely ideas. I loved the wreath card and wanted to do something similar so using my Cameo, I cut several leaf shapes and a few twiggy bits and assembled them into a circle on the card background, adding the fairy with some foam dots to raise her above the wreath.
I feel the need to point out the horrible splotchy bit on her forehead - I have no idea what happened there :(
Entering this into the challenges at Colour Me Creative, Cute Card Thursday, My Heart Pieces, Addicted to Stamps & More, Addicted to CAS and 4 Krafty Girlz,
Thanks for popping in today!
