With a cherry on top.

Hello all!  Popping in with a quick posting on a card made primarily for the current A day for daisies challenge, which is to use fabric or fibres.  I wanted to keep the colours limited on this as I also wanted to put it in for the current TTCRD challenge as well -  use white plus two other colours.

The image was coloured with my trusty Copics and I happened to have a scrap of red gingham left over from some patchwork cushions I made, which was perfect to add to this card :)
I printed the sentiment myself so feel free to grab it here -

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges -

Thanks for popping in and I hope you find the sentiment useful :)

Parisienne chic

Good morning :)
I'm following up from my London posting by hopping across the English Channel to the very stylish city of Paris!  This is another digi from my latest City stamp set available now at CYDI LilyPink Designs .  I kept it simple and feminine by stamping a background using lilac and grey inks and adding an inked and punched card embellishment.  The digi was lightly coloured with Copics and I dripped a small amount of the Colourless Blender over it to add a worn and distressed feel.

I don't know why it is but images of Paris always seem to have a shabby chic feel to them and with that in mind, I'm entering this card into the following challenges -
http://corrosivechallengesbyjanet.blogspot.com/ - Not too shabby
http://ooh-la-la-creationschallenges.blogspot.com/ - Make it Girly (106)
http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/ - Vintage
http://craftycardmakers.blogspot.com/ - Distress it (69)
http://celebratetheoccasion.blogspot.com/ - Anything Goes

Thanks for popping today :)

Fabulous!!!

I'm starting this post off with a very small gripe but it won't last long so bear with me!  I'm one of those people who are a bit picky about spelling and being from England but currently living in the USA, I come across a lot of discrepancies.  I understand that using the USA Silhouette site means that I get the US version of spellings but why can't they offer you the option of the English spelling as well???
Anyway, I spell 'Fabulous' this way but the Silhouette spelling is without the second "u" so I'm just going to have to live with it!

That said, the digi from Saturated Canary is completely fabulous, whichever way you choose to spell it!  I went to town with the flowers on this one as I felt she deserved them.

The current challenge over at the  Saturated Canary blog is birthdays and I made this with a purple-loving friend in mind!

I would also like to enter it into the following challenges -
http://smudgyantics.blogspot.com/ - drop dead gorgeous
http://cutedaisymay.blogspot.com/ - pile on the flowers
http://blog.oozak.com/ - anything goes

Thanks for stopping by today!

Just an old-fashioned girl....

So, already Wednesday is here - where does the time go??
My card today is a fairly clean style yet old-fashioned at the same time.  I love this digi, the very cute Sophie from Mo's digital pencil too and I close cropped it to just use the faces of Sophie and her old rag doll.  Also tried to keep to a brown, beige and cream palette as I wanted it to have a vintage feel.

The challenge over at Mo's is a bingo one, where you can choose which row to use and I went for the "gems, ribbon, flower" row  - pretty obvious from the photo!

I would also like to enter this into -
http://incywincydesigns.blogspot.com/ - recipe, 3 embellishments, 2 papers, 1 image.

Thanks for stopping to take a look :)
