Cutting it fine!

Hello all!
Dashing in quickly to post this card for the current Kenny's Krafty Krew challenge which ends in less that 2 hours!!  Talk about leaving it until the last minute.........
At least I managed to get the card made fairly quickly (for me, anyhow) as this time around, the challenge is a sketch one.  So, I didn't waste hours going through hundreds of different layout ideas and then rejecting them all - my usual way of card designing!

No time to chatter, so here it is -

I used the digi "Devilish Donna" and in light of the name, coloured her with some hot pinks and gave her black hair.  The sketch gave me a chance to use up some scraps of paper for the background, with some ribbon and craft tape to add interest. The sentiment was done using the print and cut technique on my Cameo - I think the font is called Angelic War which seemed appropriate.

I would also like to enter her into the challenges at http://thepoodlesparlour.blogspot.com/ (winged things), http://inthepinkchallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ (things with wings) and http://littlemissmuffetchallenges.blogspot.com/ (pink).

Thanks for popping in :)

Hey Bestie!

Hope your weekend has been fun so far - halfway through for me and a bit of a cold one here in New Jersey.  Still, can't complain as this winter has been incredibly mild compared to last year!  You can tell I'm English can't you?  - talking about the weather is such an English thing :)
Anyway, on to the important stuff - my card today is done with a digi from Lia stampz at Whimsy stamps .  This image caught my eye when I was browsing and I just had to have it - so funny!!

I would like to enter it into the following challenges -

http://scrapbitzcopics.ning.com/group/cmccopicchallengegroup - laughs and bright colours
http://thepoodlesparlour.blogspot.com/ - Mother's Day or female
http://delightfulsketches.blogspot.com/ - use patterned paper

That's it for now - time to get the weekend errands done - thanks so much for popping in :)
