Valentine's Girl

Hello all!
It's bitterly cold here today so I'm very glad I didn't have to go outside but I must say, it seems very strange to have this cold without the snow.  The first two winters I lived here in New Jersey, the winters were pretty impressive with the cold and the many feet of snowfall but the last two years have been mild with hardly any snow.  I'm not complaining as I'm not a cold-lovin' gal but it sure doesn't feel like winter!

Anyway, February will soon be here which means Valentine's cards for all us card-makers - for this card I have used the fabulously glamourous Freya , the Valentine's Day girl from The Octopode Factory .  Don't you just love her heart-shaped glasses?
Obviously I had to colour her dress in red, using my Copics and I kept it all very CAS yet again!

I would like to enter this into the challenges at -

If you head over to The Octopode Factory , you can see all of the wonderful new digis from Lily, including some gorgeous Flapper Girls and some very cute LoveCats .  I can't wait to do something with these :)

A good reason to celebrate!

Hello all!
I'm hoping this scheduled post will go out on time as I'm not actually here today!  All being well, we are looking at an early start and waiting for the gates to open at the Hershey Fall Meet 2012  - a combination car show and giant flea market with 9000 spaces, no that isn't a typo, I do mean 9000 flea market spaces!!!  I don't think we have a hope of getting round everything as there are also 1500 classic cars on show.  This event was tailor made for us as we are both huge classic car fans and we love junking - what more could we ask for?

Anyway, on to the card which is for today's challenge at The Outlawz (Copics/Promarkers group).  The theme is National Desserts day which is on October 14th - I can't think of a better reason to have a national day :)
I inked up a Whipper Snapper stamp for this and actually made the card with my niece in mind  - she'll be 2 in November - which is why the card is very girly :)  I'm just going to add a glittery "2" to it before I mail it.

I would like to put this in for the following challenges -

Thanks for popping in!
