I don't do a great deal of frilly but I do like funky and it's always a good thing to try something out of your comfort zone! I love all the vintage cards out there in web-land but when it comes to actually creating something, I do tend to get a bit stumped. I don't find it easy to put lots of bits onto my cards and they don't really look finished to me but maybe I just need to keep on trying - I might get it one day!
The flower tile was done using part of my own digi (Script Flowers by LilyPink Designs) available at Can You Digi It?
I would also like to put this in for the following -
http://fashionistachallenge.blogspot.com/ - anything goes for girls
http://pileitonchallenge.blogspot.com/ - create a scene
http://sirstampalotchallenge.blogspot.com/ - birthday
Thanks for popping in!

Your card looks fine to me, in fact it's gorgeous! Love the papers you've used, and especially the flower tile. Thanks for sharing it with us for our birthday challenge at Stampalot, and good luck.

Fabulous card, I think you've hit just the right balance. I love the colours you've used, the green background really sets off the flowers. Thanks for joining us in our first challenge at Frilly and Funkie. Sue C x

Looks like you figured out the "bits" to me! Great card--love the design and all the pieces you put into it!

I really like this Dawn. I think the mix of elements is just right but I know what you're talking about. Sometimes I feel like my cards are a bit naked but if I add anything else I feel like they're overloaded. LOL Go figure. I think this is just perfect though. Hugs!
Lovely creation and one would never know you felt this was out of your comfort zone! The flowers and bird pop so nicely and I love the added pearls to the lace trim! Thank you for joining the Frilly and Funkie challege and hope to see you often!
A gorgeous card Dawn and a beautiful fusion of muted colours.
Thanks so much for joining in our Birthday celebrations and good luck with all the prizes on offer.
